Our Beliefs

  • We believe the Bible is the Word of God, breathed out of His mouth containing the 66 books of the combined Old and New Testaments historically recognized as the Protestant Canon and is unchanging and without error in its original text that has been preserved in the manuscript tradition to this day.

2 Timothy 3:16, Isaiah 40:8

  • We believe in the one Triune God of the Bible that is 1 in essence yet 3 in persons eternally; namely the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each co- equal and co- eternal yet each assuming different roles in accomplishing the plan of redemption.

Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 63: 10, John 1:1

  • We believe that Jesus is the promised Messiah from the Old Testament and is the second person of the Trinity who took on human nature in addition to his divine nature to be the God- Man, fully God, fully Man and to fulfill the atoning work of redemption.

Genesis 49:10, Deuteronomy 18, Psalm 22, Isaiah 7, Isaiah 9, Isaiah 52-53, Micah 5, Daniel 9, Philippians 2:6-11, John 8:58

  • We believe that man was originally created in the image of God and was upright but has rebelled against God and now has God’s just wrath remaining on him. Man now has a sinful nature that is enslaved to sin from birth until he is regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Fallen man is still in the image of God but is totally depraved and is unable and unwilling to come to God on his own.

Genesis 1:26, Genesis 3, Psalm 51:5, Psalm 58:3, John 8:34, John 6:44

  • We believe that there is only one way to be reconciled with God and that is through the sacrifice accomplished by Jesus Christ who was crucified, buried and rose again on the third day.

Isaiah 53, John 14:6, Acts 4:12

  • We believe that justification is by repentance and faith. More specifically faith apart from personal works of law or in other words by faith alone. Repentance and faith are gifts from God and are two sides to the same coin.

Genesis 15:6, Luke 13:3, Romans 3:28, Galatians 2:16

  • We believe in the future bodily return of Jesus Christ when He will judge the living and the dead who will all be bodily resurrected and will also save those who eagerly wait for him. Those outside of Christ will spend an eternity being tormented in the presence of God’s wrath and those who are in Christ will spend eternity in Paradise worshipping and enjoying God forever.

Daniel 7:10, Daniel 12:2, Acts 1:11, Hebrews 9:28, Revelation 20:12
